MacArthur's Honor Guard 2007 Reunion
When General MacArthur’s Honor Guard Association informed the MacArthur Memorial staff that they would be holding their 2007 reunion in Norfolk, it was determined to create a special exhibit about the Honor Guard.
The result is Only the Finest: General MacArthur’s Honor Guard.

29th Division Living History
More than 200 people attended a living history program featuring World War II reenactors of the 29th Division Living History Association held at the MacArthur Memorial Saturday, August 26.

Liberation Plaque Dedication
The Liberation Plaque Memorial was dedicated in MacArthur Square on 1 April 2006. Attended by more than 100 people and 13 former internees and
liberators of the Japanese Internment Camps in the Philippines, rain threatened but held off long enough for the ceremony
to take place.

Film Series Well Attended
The MacArthur Memorial theatre was the site of a six week long film/lecture series about World War I. Working
in partnership with the Kirn Memorial Library, and with Old Dominion University professor and former U.S.
Congressman Dr. William Whitehurst who served as narrator and host, more than 100 guests attended each week.
