Elusive Photo Resurfaces
In the 40 years of the existence of the MacArthur Memorial, a picture of MacArthur giving his speech at the Pearl Harbor Conference has been sought by dozens if not hundreds of researchers. Now after 50 years, we publish the photo of General MacArthur highlighting his case for the liberation of the Philippines, once again.

Liberation Plaque Memorial
The Liberation Plaque Memorial was dedicated in MacArthur Square on April 1, 2006. Attended
by more than 100 people and 13 former internees and liberators of the Japanese Internment Camps in the Philippines, the rain
held off long enough for the ceremony to take place.

Twenty-Seven officers Honored at Pentagon Ceremony
The 19th Annual General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Awards were presented to
27 U.S. Army leaders in a May 17, 2006, ceremony in the courtyard of the Pentagon.
