On May 10th, the MacArthur Memorial and the Norfolk Historical Society will host Andrew Carroll. Mr. Carroll will discuss his new book on General John J. Pershing and preview part of the new PBS documentary film The Great War.

Please join us the evening of May 10th for a Norfolk Historical Society Lecture. 

Director of the Center for American War Letters at Chapman University and a New York Times bestselling author, Andrew Carroll will be the guest speaker for the Norfolk Historical Society’s May event.  Mr. Carroll will be discussing his new book, My Fellow Soldiers: General John Pershing and the Americans Who Helped Win the Great War, and previewing part of the new PBS film The Great War.  Mr. Carroll is especially hoping that veterans and/or their families will bring wartime letters and emails to contribute to the Center for American War Letters (
