Papers of Chief Warrant Officer James L. Wilson, USA 60th Coast Artillery, Corregidor, PI, 1936-1938.
CWO Wilson served with Battery B, 60th Coast Artillery on Corregidor from 1936-1938. This collection of photo albums and scrapbook contain images, postcards and memorabilia with scenes of Corregidor, Fort Drum, Guam, Hawaii, and San Francisco. The collection was donated by James Wilson of Chesapeake, VA, in June 2006. (1 Hollinger box, .5 shelf feet)

Photographs.
This is a hand colored image of the “Mile Long Barracks,” at Fort Mills, Corregidor. The barracks were completely destroyed during the Philippine campaigns of 1941-1942 and 1945.

Memorabilia.
This is a “crossing the line” certificate awarded to Wilson by the U.S. Army Transport Grant, after he underwent the grueling initiation into the court of King Neptune after the crossing of the equator in the trip from San Francisco to Manila.
